That is my favorite
scripture, Jeremiah 29-11-14, I hang onto that when the storms of
life get too rough for me; and I know God is faithful.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
I was born in a small town in northern, lower Michigan. I grew up
on a farm and love horses and farm animals to this day.
I started playing guitar and writing songs at
the age of 11 and haven't stopped since! My mother was my most positive
supporter. Sometimes when there was housework to be done she would tell
me, "if you play your guitar and sing for me while I do these dishes,
you won't have to help". Now to a young girl, getting out of housework
was one of the greatest accomplishments life could offer! So I played
and sang my heart out!
Ever since I was a little girl I can remember
just knowing God was there; no one had to tell me, and no one could make
me believe otherwise. For me it was kind of like gravity; if you hold
something in the air and drop it, it's going to fall, just as sure as
the sun rises every morning I knew that object would fall and God was
there to see it!
I began wanting to write songs that could somehow
help people, but I didn't know how or where to start, then, I got caught
up in the world and forgot about God.
The same year my mother passed away from
cancer, I met my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in a real way!
I was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit in Clearwater, Fl.
and have never been the same since!
Today I am a music minister and love my work!
My husband Mark and I love the Lord and want to do everything
we can with whatever resources and talents God gives us to minister to
His people, spread the Gospel and bring the lost sheep home!
We have a beautiful
10 year old daughter Gabrielle (Brie for short) who also loves the
Lord
with all her heart. Jesus is her hero!
To have "Heart Of The Matter" recorded is a dream
come true for me, and my mother would be proud that I haven't let my talent
waste away.
For the rest of our lives my husband and I plan
to minister, through song and whatever other means the Lord gives us,
to as many doors that open to us; until He comes!
